Making that paper...like a B0$$

I now have a job! I'm a new employee at Textbook Solutions and I'm really excited for multiple reasons. The first one being that my father can now stop nagging me about getting a job...maybe. You'd be surprised, he will probably still find a way to nag at me about getting a job even after I already have a job but we'll see.

I'm also hoping to send myself to Chicago over Christmas break. I lived there for 16 years before I moved to Texas and I really miss it a lot. All of my family and best friends live there so I would love to see them for the holidays. That would make my whole year! I'm really looking forward to that.

The very best thing about having a job now is just the fact of knowing I'll have my own money again. I was so tired of my dad always giving me money for everything because he said that I didn't need to worry about getting a job. (Until a few weeks ago when the nagging began. -___-) I can spend my money on whatever I want without my dad's direct supervision. 

My first day of training was today and it went really well. I met a lot of cool coworkers (who also attend Texas State!). They're all really cool and I'm pretty sure it's going to be tons of fun working there with all of them. That's one of the many great benefits of having a job!
