Adjusting
Well of corse im a freshman. Im from Lubbock, so this area is fairly new to me. I choose Texas State because i liked that it was in between San Antonio, and Austin and also because they have a physical thearpy program which is my major. I was expecting to have a really good time when i first moved here. All my friends stayed in Lubbock which was okay with me at first. I thought i was going to make new friends, be hanging out, having a good time, and not totally hating class because it was supposed to be better than high school. Every single person that i told i was going to move here for school was like, "oh wow, your going to have so much fun." So thats literally what i was expecting. But honestly i haven't really gotten to have any fun. I thought i would at least have one friend, my roommate. But she had friends that came with her so she's with them a lot. And im not exactly talkative so i haven't made any friends really. Its just taking me a while to adjust to not having my friends and my family down here. Im bored a lot more than i expected, and my classes feel worse than high school. I guess because they are not centered toward my major yet. Hopefully the next few weeks i get more adjusted.
