broken foot
In November of 2012, I broke my foot in half playing a nice game of basketball at my local LA Fitness facility. I had a screw put in the entire length of my foot which, for the most part, healed it back to one hundred percent. Since I was in the early stages of recovery, I have not been exposed to the cold weather without a boot on. Recently, the temperature has seemed to drop, and days have been much colder. Usually, I am a huge fan of cooler weather. That was until I realized that the cold puts a large amount of pain on the 6 inch metal screw on the inside of my foot. It feels like my foot is broken again now when it gets with the fifty degree range. It makes me not want to go outside because of the amount of pain that I am in. But, Alec Burris is a trooper damn it and I will not accept defeat from the cold. Maybe I should start wearing extra socks or something, but I don't think there is much I can do about it. To conclude my thoughts I am basically walking around with a non broken, broken foot...and it sucks.
