So all through my senior year I got an internship at Walter P. Moore which paid more than the average teenage job that many people of my age get. So now that I'm a freshman in college my parents consider this my job, but I think they fail to understand that I do still need money. I also make sure I don't just blow it I buy groceries, I don't eat out, I don't shop excessively, and I really don't even party. The main things I do are give my friends gas money, since I don't have a car and if I do go out well yeah I spend money. My mother is the only one who understands my struggle and started giving me a monthly allowance, but my dad just hasn't hopped on the band wagon. You may ask well if one parent is sending you money does it matter. YES it does! My mom only give me $100 and expects my mom to reach me half way. Since they aren't together I'm the communicator between them both. So if my dad doesn't pull through its usually my mom saying "Well I did my part." Basically all I'm trying to say is the struggle is real!
I'm going to get a J-O-B
