Four Year Plan
I woke up yesterday, showered, attended class, went to the rec with some friends, aced a test, got a haircut, finished all of my homework, and had the most productive day I've ever had since I got here to Texas State.... Then I woke up for real and realized I had slept through all of my classes and not done any of those things. I just went back to sleep and proceeded to have one of the least productive days since I've been here. During the day I met some juniors and for some reason that just blew me away. I don't plan on dropping out or making skipping class a habit, but I have such a hard time picturing myself here for that long. I can barely think about next semester let alone the year after next. Four years isn't really that long of a time, but for me it is. I really like going to school here, I enjoy all of the friends I've made, and I enjoy the times I've had, but four years is a long time for me and I plan on getting my masters and PhD so that's even more schooling. I'll probably make it and pull it off but for right now my mind is blown by how long that is going to take.
